Welcome to our forum.

We hope that you find this place to be a welcomed break from what your experiences have been elsewhere.

In order to keep this forum friendly and flame-free we have a few requests. If everyone honors these requests, it will make for a better forum experience for all that care to participate.

NO FLAMING OF ANYONE

If you have an issue with someone we request that you communicate via PMs, emails or take it offline. We ask that you conduct yourself in no less than a civil manner while in this forum. No exceptions please.

ABSOLUTELY NO LFS BASHING

We are fortunate to have many fine vendors to choose from in the greater St. Louis area and see no reason to bash any of them. If you wish to bash, do it with your money and take your business elsewhere. We, as a club, wish to cultivate a relationship with all of the local vendors. These relationships can easily benefit everyone in the club in the form of discounts, sponsorship and /or vendor participation in the club. There is no doubt that these vendors will be reading this forum and will likely base the amount of their interaction with our club on what is said about their business. Let's not give them a reason to decline participation.

While we believe that you should be able to relate all vendor experiences, whether good or bad, we request that you do no more than relate your negative experience. To help keep the bashing from starting, we ask that you keep personal comments to a minimum.

It is possible that anyone can have bad and good experiences with any given vendor on any given day. You, as a consumer, must protect yourself against bad experiences by educating yourself. It is all too easy to blame a vendor for your mistakes.

We ask that you help to keep the negative chatter down by notifying a Reef Central moderator should you see any negative activity occuring. We remind you that Reef Central has the ability to ban members and to take other corrective actions with those who break their rules. We don't want to lose anyone so please keep it civil.
