Caulerpa sp. ID please

This stuff has grown like crazy in the last couple weeks, sending out leaders onto other LR and attaching there. It's pretty, but will it quickly get out of hand? Will it go sexual? It's in my main tank, on the side, but gets decent light.

Looks like the C. racemosa (or grape) cousin C. peltata (or mushroom, sometimes called suction cup depending on the variation you have).

It can easily get out of hand if the environmental conditions are right for it. Namely, readable nitrates and phosphates. I think its very pretty, but be prepared to thin out large sections of it weekly if you decide to keep it in the tank.

It does have the capacity to sporulate, or 'go sexual'. This tends to happen when nutrients bottom out and the parent colony cant survive in the lean tank conditions. If you decide to keep it, thin out the older sections of the colony to help prevent sporulation events.

Doesnt take much light to get this guy going..
