i have to hide my magfloat when i have people over... its just to cool for my tank.

a lot of people who see my tank assume the corals are fake. i always have to explain that EVERYTHING is alive and real.

i would hate to hear a cracking noise come from my room, i have 5 aquariums, 65gallon is my largest. id hate to hear any loud crashing noise.

Honey, where's Buddy? There he is. Is he getting a massage. (Buddy was a baby osc. clown that got sucked into the intake on the filter and he died (Nemo style).

(Talking about my hammer, frogspawn and bubble coral)

"Ewww, the squiggly looking things give me the creeps!!"

They keep saying this while they stare at the tank for at least 30 minutes! It's the same routine everytime they visit.

Roommate that stayed home points out after we get back from Thailand, "I just started noticing the paint peeling 2 days ago." Hired maintenance adjusted skimmer to slowly drip 7 gallons of water through out floorboards into the walls below. $3,000 in damages in a NEWLY BUILT home.

I was rearranging the rock one day. Put all the corals in totes and was doing really well. The monti didn't break at all when I took it out. Then it happened. I put the last piece of rock back in before the corals and I heard something slide off the chair. The cover of a tote slid into the tote holding the monti. The monti was all broken up. This was my husbands favorite coral and I had to call him and give him the bad news. Thankfully, the monti is growing back nice and I was able to rescue a few smaller pieces and get them started up again. My first lesson in fragging )

"Honey, why are there so many bubbles coming out of the pipe thingy in your tank?"

drip, drip, drip...

walking across your livingroom floor late at night, and feeling your socks get wet.

"why is the tank so green?"

"what's all that red carpet looking stuff?"

"COOL little magnet cleaner!"

"Those fan things you have on top of your aquarium quit working a couple of days ago."

"Honey, Why are your aquarium lights not on? It's 3 o'clock..."

"Hubbie!!!! Why's there salt creep coming up the side of the house?!?!
