IMO 12 gallon is too small for a "zebra" mantis. L. macs get about a foot long and need a sand bed every single inch as deep as them, if not deeper. Not to say that a peacock is any better in a 12 gallon *glare*, but I suggest you get yourself an N. wennerae.

Is a little wierd lol? N. wennerae is pretty active and if you put in large turbo snails they usually can't kill them. Thats what you wanted, right? Something that will let you have a CUC?
