Help with ID, please?

Hi all. I assume this is some sort of leather. It has REALLY cool green tips. I've never seen it under actinics, but it's *gotta* flouresce. This pic is taken under plain 'ol 10K mh.
TIA
Tagamet

HTH,
Mariner
Thanks Mariner. I'm still not quite sure that's it. Probably.

Yeah, I'm not sure either -- it just kind of looks like it. Coral ID is tough even for experts I understand -- me no expert

Yeah, I wouldn't be *asking* if I was an expert (lol)
Thanks again,

Looks all closed up but it looks like a neon green nephthea to me also. I used to frag these for almost a year at a store I worked at.

I think its a Palau Finger leather actually. I got one and it looks identical to me. Maybe its in the genus Nepheidade or how ever you spell it???? Don't take my word for it though. I'm a moron!!!

Tag,

Did you get it at the swap? I brought a few frags of a green leather at the last one. It's originally from Bytor, when I first got it he said it was most likely a sinularia. But to know for sure if it's sinularia or nepthea is practically impossible.

Here's a pic of it in my tank. My camera sucks and when it's polyps are out the green gets washed out a little, under actinic lighting it has an awesome glow to it. I'll try and get an actinic shot later tonight. Does it looks like this pic when expanded?

I got a tiny frag of it at Mo's very first swap (I think). It's grown VERY slowly, but has gotten darker and darker green. I have a different colony of the one you just posted the pic of, and they are definitely different. O believe that the green one is a singularia and the beige one is nepthea, but who knows. they're all pretty (g).

It wasn't a frag from me then. The last swap at zooqi's was the first one I was at.
