LPS Melting away
I have lost a brain and my favites are melting away quite literally. I have been trying to fight this for over 3 months now but seems I cant get any type of handle on it. I am assuming it is some sort of fungus that is killing them, I have treated with Lugols to no success.
All water parameters are fine and stable and all other forms of coral and doing well including rics zoos and leathers. Any ideas on treatment???? No lighting changes or anything of the sort recently either |

I had a similar situation and I ended up dosing with Lugols heavily (mixed the dip at about 2-3 x's the recommended strength) and placed the brain directly in the filter flow to remove the decaying flesh. The brain is now very healthy however only about 1/3 of the flesh is left.
