awesome colors on that shot!
i have one to share- i took it this afternoon. this is a Porcelain Crab i think- i bought it about a month ago, hoping it would share my bta with the pair of gs maroon clowns. first it hid out in the hairy mushrooms, then it did find the anemone and spend a couple of days there. i was surprised that the female clown didn't seem to mind. but after a couple of days the crab headed back over to the mushroom zone and that's where it's been ever since. this morning it was seining for food right out in the open and i was able to get a series of photos. this is one of the close-ups (the whole crab is about 1.5 inches wide).

i couldn't agree more Scott- there's a million billion tiny little universes down there waiting to be discovered...
last year i found this Green Lynx Spiderfish- she's perched on top of her nest in this photo. i love this kind of picture taking- challenging but rewarding because it gives a glimpse into another world.

Oh no!!!!!!!! I've taken up reef tanks, scuba diving, and carnivorous plants. I guess now I have to take up photography.

It's the first time i've been in this forum. Those pics are fabulous.

made with a 100mm macro lens and flash, at f11 and 1/40.
