Where to go in Singapore

I am planning a visit there. Any suggestions? I was going to try to visit the arrowana farm. Any stores or public aquaria that I should try to visit? Suppose to be good diving in that part of the world but I like to view stuff through acrylic.

I wouldn't step foot in that country if my life depended on it.

Fart in public and spend the rest of your life in solitary confinement with daily canings.

MarkS---yes, you do lose personal freedoms but my newphews & niece have the freedom to run around town on their own without fear of being kidnapped or worse. I don't know how it is in Texas, but here in California, we don't let our kids out of our sight.

I don't know if you have set dates yet but there is a big aqaurium trade show called Aquarama The dates are posted on the upper right of the page.
Just in case you are there at that time, it sure would be something to see.

Thanks for the info. I went to Singapore back in Dec/Jan. Had a great trip. People, food and city was great. I checked out their Flower Horn fishes and now I have one too! Couldn't find much in the way of corals though.

Go to the shopping mall on Sunday.

I was there in '92 while I was in the service. I think it's like a generally recognized informal custom for ladies to crowd the shopping malls on Sundays. It'll be you, whoever you bring with you, and about one million women.

If you get the opportunity, travel on Singapore Airlines. The fleet averages 5 years old, the food is tremendous even in coach, and the flight crew looks like the finalists from the Miss Universe pageant. Singapore Airlines and Dragonair put American airline companies to shame.
