T-5 Bulbs

Where is the cheapest store to buy T5 bulbs, online or LFS. I need 36 inch ATI and UVL.

I'm sure online, prices will be pretty much the same but do any of the LFS have a good stock/price.

You used to be able to get them an Aquatic Reef....RIP

I know you can buy T5's at Petsmart now.

They have 6700K, 18K and actnincs in T5. At least that's what I've seen there.

I would suggest advanced aquatics locally or you can order them from premium aquatics which even when using ground shipping gets here next day. If you find a cheaper online price i believe premium will match it. I ordered some ati bulbs from there recently and was very pleased with the service.

Not that I am trying to hijack your post but I have a "AquaMedic" fixture with 6x39w T5s and some needs to be replaced but I can't get the bulb out. I work very close to AA so that would be my choice too.

Its not extra shipping its just that it costs the same to get 1 bulb or 6 bulbs shipped, they use special packaging so as to ensure that your bulbs dont break. Once you see the box and styro they use you understand why the weird shipping price. Its not much anyways, i spent 8 dollars shipping for 2 bulbs and a koralia 2, it was 2 separate packages.

I unscrew the side plates from the fixture, slide out the glass face but the bulbs would still not come out from its caps.

esdayal, just to make sure are you spinning the bulb about in the sockets? I know it sounds basic but some people forget that you have to do that? thats the only thought i have.
