I went with the A250. Works better with U.S. power (60 cycle).

here's a thread about the a200, but no more pics for some reason. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...hreadid=818119

and feedback about ed and his company.

How much is the H&S 250, if you don't mind sharing? I concur about buying from Ed. He's got the best customer service around.

I would get it from H&S at their website http://www.finsreef.com/ .

I don't see any reason to go through a third party to get this skimmer. They also have a forum here in the sponsor section, H&S/Fins Reef.

I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction.

IMO, if you're going to use a 1x1260 - its very important that you gravity feed it. Its an incredible skimmer and like most recircs (external) - it works best gravity fed. For safety you could go to a 2x1260 (A200 or A250) but you can definitely get away with a 1x1260 on a tank that size if you optimize it. You will love it, thats for sure.

I think the vendor you choose should be closest geographically to you for shipping. I've bought directly from Finsreef and Aquarium Specialty and they're service is top notch.

Once you go H&S you'll never go back! They are absolute beasts when it comes to skimming.

Lol, I agree, I bought one and the only other skimmer that I will consider is a BK.
