An overstocked tank that is fed HEAVILY three times a day even when there is a so called "problem" with the skimmer? I can't see how the death of your fish is the skimmers fault?
The skimmer is working great at the shop, you got your refund lets move on shall we?

There is more to it than that. He removed the skimmer that was on the tank one week before he installed the new skimmer.

Which is not often mentioned and is another reason not to blame "this" skimmer.
