the newest edition to my tank!!

built it for a total of $70.00 including Glass, Plumbing, Power head, miracle mud, chaeto and lighting. Dimensions are 12"L x 10"H x 3"W made out of 1/8"glass and bonded together with All-Glass's silicone. took about 2 hours to build including having the holes drilled for the plumbing!!the powerhead is a Rio 50 and i used the adjustable ball valve to control the flow. sorry pics arnt to good...not alot of space behind my tank.

will fish eat the culerpa if it starts growing on rocks??

as far as i know some tangs will
and i have had emerald crabs eat it

some people have great luck with it i did not

thanks!! i just added another piece of glass to the inside to direct the flow downward because i noticed as soon as the water would hit the deflector plate it would just travel up and it seemed like it was missing alot of the sand and culerpa...i will be changeing to chaeto asap though!!!the good thing is that for now my tang is eating the culerpa pieces that make it back into my tank from the return...
