those were the nudis favorite and the only thing they've actually eaten so far. That's what made me decide to sell. If the zoas are FW dipped and go in a clean system they'll be fine. In my tank though I can't seem to get all the nudis out by just removing the zoas.

You might want to consider having someone hold some of your favorite zoas so you don't have to start over later.

i'd like the fire and ice, been looking for those as i bought just 3 polyps once and they just did not make it!

can i see a pic of the bam bam orange and avitar zoas, i have never seen those before (i may be interested)

i am also intrested in the eagle eye but i need to see what my funds are by the next meeting

so right now the only "for sure" purchase is the fire and ice but i'dd like first dibs on the others mentioned, i'll let you know on the other 3 within one week of the meeting and if i say no then the next in line can have them. k?

(which yeah, i'll pick them up at the meeting)

I think it would be extremely wise to also quarantine them for at least a couple of weeks before putting them into any main display. Though freshwater dips are pretty effective, its not 100% guaranteed to kill them all.

Arlan is correct. I would fresh dip the zoas a few times. When I had nudis - I quarantined my zoas and fresh dipped them a few times. I can tell you that by the second round, I still had some nudis coming off. Better safe than sorry.

I am getting some and I will be double dipping for sure more than once...

a full quarantine bay be a bit tricky but I am working on that as well.

Anyone ever use the Guppy fry nets for quarantine on small pieces?

Thanks,

John

using nets in the main system isn't considered quarintine. I would recommend against this. A lot of stuff can get through and still mess up your main system. You need a separate tank that is not connected to your main tank in any way, probably even want to use completely different tools between the two tanks to avoid cross contamindation.
