Talking So what can I do without a TV?

Will I live? Will Dan live? Should I drag up the 13" from the basement?

Had a power outtage last night, and even with a surge protector the TV fried.

Luckily the computer didn't. I'm going to have to hang out here more.

Hmm. Did it take out the stove or fridge? The butter didn't turn did it? Is the sugar and crisco still OK?

Just thinking out loud here trying to come up with something to help you pass the L O N G boring hours there in the Wyoming wilderness.

It's like I almost got an idea, give me a bit and I'll keep working on it for you.

Bummer Debi!!! Guess you'll be hanging around here a lot now.

Must've been a cheap surge protector??? I've had two blow in my house before and nothing that was plugged into them has ever been damaged.

This is the one I use: http://www.discountofficesupplies.co...dos&in_merch=1

What are you going to miss?
The Simpsons?
King of the Hill?
I wouldn't...miss them, that is.
There's cards. There's chess. There's even video games. There's...gasp, popping up some popcorn and having a conversation.

We have power outtages all the time, have never had anything fry. No it wasn't a cheap surge protector, same one that's on the computer, which thankfully did not fry. And I was on here when it went out.

Debi, get the 13" out. Then when you get your regular tv fixed or replaced it will look HUGE after looking at that little screen

LOL, those are not on our list. Amazingly we don't have any shows that we even know what day they are on. We watch these if we see they are on

Ghost Whisperer
House
CSI's I can't even tell you which is which

We do watch the Daily show and Tonight show everynight tho.

We watch a lot of the history channel and Discovery (I know you're shocked)

I'm willing to bet we talk more than most people even after 30 years. We don't even turn on the radio when we travel, we talk.

OH BOY!! My two favorites! Why not a couple boxes of each?

I need to head over to the local Girl Scouts HQ and buy a few boxes. We can get them at the HQ year-round though I prefer to suppor the local troops first. Unfortuantely they don't come around for some reason. The last Girl Scout who knocked at our door I bought like 7 boxes from and told her to come back again the following year. After she delivered the cookies we ordered she never came back. What's with kids today? You can't even GIVE them the sale, let alone have them work for it!

Mine all disappeared too. Seems like the ones around here just go to businesses. I'm all set as long as the grisslings keep selling. Since they are 50 cents cheaper there than here, it pretty much covers shipping too.
