where should i order a pack of sps frags?

Just wondering what are some good websites to order a package of SPS Frags. I'm considering Liveaquaria.com or YourReef.com

I can personally vouch for yourreef.com. It's less than 5 miles from my house so Im a frequent flyer I guess you could say
John is a very honest and fair guy, great corals at very reasonable prices, shop with confidence

tfp is just a hobbyist not an online vendor and also a local fellow club member and can personally vouch for him as well and have bought/traded with quite a few of his goodies. High end colorfull collectables no doubt his list can be found on frags.org. also sells/trades packages once in a while here on RC too.

I would try Rick at Soutas Saltwater in Oregon. He is one of the original farmers of the real Oregon Tort and has some great corals at amazing prices. His Oregon tort is a nice size piece for only 45 dollars. I just placed my third order with him last month. Its www.reefstuff.com.

Be patient though, sometimes it does take a little bit to hear from him (not more than 48 hrs) since online shipping is not the primary form of business for him.

As Justin mentioned, both KEEPERZ and TFP are hobbyish. But they do sell/trade Frags. If i remember correctly TFP has a 300g tank and KEEPERZ has 600g. You can search for their name here in RC or Frags . org. I am not trying to advertise for them. Just my personal experience with them two. Both are very highly professional.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with both Joe (KEEPERZ) and Tim (tfp). Both seem to have incredible collections.

This is the best place to get a good deal IMO:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/fo...?s=&forumid=98
That and your local forum/reef club if you have one.
You may have wait a little and keep your eye out but you will save a lot of $ over the online vendors. Some online places that have good reps have been mentioned. http://www.reefermadness.us also offers some good deals on frag packs and most I have talked to say good things about them. I have never ordered from them though.

I agree with Chris, and I can vouch for RM - good stuff, and they throw in freebie frags when you order packages from them. I also would recommend another Reef Central Sponsor, Dr. Mac - especially if you are east-coast.

If you're not picky about letting the vendor choose the frags, Dr. Mac's 12/$99 frag pack can't be beat.

The frags are healthy, and all of the SPS frags I received were at least 2".

Were you pleased with the order?

I definitely think it's a great value.

Thanks for posting the pics, they all look great, encrusting and growing. If your system has low nitrates and phosphates then they should color up nicely for you as they continue to grow. Good luck with them, thanks again for your order.
