What BRAND is the best REFRACTOMETER?

What brand would you suggest can get the job done and not cost $100.00 bucks?

What site carries them?

Thanks everyone

I prefer the Sybon HD refractometer over the blue. I know Premium stocks them.

Ok, got my new refractometer from Dr Fosters & Smith but it didn't come with any instructions. It looks great and has a nice hard case with it, but I am at a lose on exactly how to use it and if it is callibrated already or not. I have an RO/DI system can i use that to calibrate the unit and if so how do I do that?

Put a couple of drops of DI water on the glass and close the cover. Look into a bright light and the refractometer should read 0 if it is calibrated properly. Wipe the lens off and put a couple of drops of tank water on it and look through it again. You should be around 30 PPT or 1.025. Always make sure you wipe the lens off after each use.

Great, thanks for the help, I also found the instructions hidden in the case under all the foam. The refractometer is awesome and so much more accurate when compared to the swing arm I had before.
