I just want to throw this out to you in case you would be interested.

8 outlets, each one on a separate switch. They also make a 4 outlet box.

yeah that does like nice and its exactly what i would be trying to acheive, i had my heart set on a switch board though, i wanted to make it real nice and have it runing through the wall over to the utility room. i guess the strip would be some much less of a headache though huh? thanks fellas!

well... i will be setting up the tank with...mag 5 for overflow return, mag 9 for closed loop return, heater, t5 lights (2 plugs), ap600 skimmer, auto top off, i might put another pump in ther for a "'no-hassle" water change system, but i'm notsure yet. so it wil be about 8 different plugs to start with. i will be runing wires for a 20 amp circuit today for behind my fish tank.

something like this, but i want it rand into my utility room, with is right on the other side of the wall from where my tank will be.

in the picture shown he has the outlets and the switches on the same side as the board, where i want to only beable to see the switches when you look at the board, this one is in someones tanks, i want mine to be in the utility room . so my tank and panel will be o the same wall
so i think i might need something like this, but i dont know what it is or where to find it?

This thread shows how I built mine. It is still working great without a problem, and it takes a lot of abuse...
