Where to get large tanks?

I want a 225 gallon tank 72X24X30 prefer glass and needs to be reef ready.

I only need the tank, anyone know what a tank like this would cost?

If you mean 72Lx24Dx30H, that is a standard 210G tank. AGA makes them, probably Perfecto, Oceanic as well.

OK,

But a 72LX24DX30H is a 225 gallon tank!

7x2x2 is a standard 210 gallon tank.

I've also been looking for a bigger tank and I can't seem to find any online that list the price. However, you can have a custom tank built to your exact requirements. There are a few RC sponsors that sell standard tanks and/or custom build that are listed in the sponsors section. HTH.

AGA calls theirs a 210. 72x24x29.

http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=ViewCat&lCatID=2 lists prices for their tanks, but they have a spotty record. I'd do some research before making a decision.

Yeah,

I looked at glass cages pretty good prices but i have also heard some bad stories.

They probably have it listed as a 210 because its only 29"H and not 30"H

72x24x30 is a 220 not 225. do the calcs. i wouldnt have said that but you sound annoying correcting the guy who said its a 210 and its a standard. he was giving you a good ballpark.

The calcs are not really right anyway. The dimensions are outside, not inside. Take away the thickness of the glass....

My point was if you want a 72x24x30(29), its a standard size tank regardless of the advertised size. You dont need a custom build.

I just got the same tank from http://www.concepttanks.com. Stay away from glass cages, please. Talk to Lori at concept aquariums. I got a 72 x24 x 30, with corner over flows, euro bracing, and the front and sides are out of starphire glass. I am so pleased with this tank. I think I payed about 1200. The tank also has beveled edges on the front sides. I got the tank exactly when they said they would deliver and excentelent customer service.

dude you are a jerk my friend and had no business in this thread and sjm didnt take it wrong nor did i mean it in a negative way and you are also wrong so know your facts before chimming off garbage. I will bet you anything you want, it is considered a 225, $1,000?

this is taken from the tank calc on reef central home page

Calculators->Tank Volume Calculator

Using the following input parameters
Tank Length = 72 inches
Tank Width = 24 inches
Tank Height = 30 inches

Tank volume is calculated as
Tank Volume = 224.4 Gallons

LeeMar.....plus they're in Cali

I think, depending on the glass options and number of extra holes you choose, you're looking in the area of $1200-$1500
