blue carpet acting crazy

Our carpet anenome seems to not want to eat... It's been atleast a week since he's eaten a frozen silverside.... We've only had him about 3 weeks.... and he's eaten about 4 times.... When we first got him he was about 8 inches in diameter, just to give you an idea of the size. We have been running our halide around 5 hours, today we have switched it to 8...He's under 2 65w actinic pc, 2 50/50 pc, and 400w 20k metal halide. We also don't have a clown fish, would this maybe affect his behavior? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to feed him or what is wrong??

Thank you, Amanda and Wayne

There may be nothing wrong with him. For what is is worth, I never feed my carpet anemones.

Lazyreefer, I think I am going to have to report you to the anenome police for abusing your carpets. Nah... I will just rescue the blue one and put it in my tank. I promise to feed it once in a while.

Yeah, Rescue the blue anenome

I wouldnt worry too much Wayne as long as he looks healthy. He might not be hungry. It seems to me that the carpets eat less than other anemones I have had. I have had carpets go several months in between taking food.
