laundry detergent
has any one ever happend to get this into their tanks? or any kind of soap?.... can i just skim it all out? i was useing a little hand rag to dry my hands between ins and out of the tank... then next thing i knew my skimmer of foaming like crazy!!... smells like dead fish and soap.. but the soap doesnt smell familiar around the house... only thing i have in my tank is southdown and 2 bull minows..... what will happen??

My daughter dumped almost half bottle of Clorox in my sump once, Had to take all the fish out and did about 40-50% water change, broke sump and skimmer and cleaned them,Killed few pieces of LR but I saved all the fish..

hmm... i dont have valuable fish nor live rock yet in my tank... only 2 minows and some grape macro in the refuigium... you think the skimmer should take out all the detergent... im thinking it might be my deoderent.. not sure... im pretty sure its just a real small amount.. nothing compared to half a bottle of clorox...
intrudah- how did your tank come out? doing good? did you ever do 100% water change? |
