I already have 3 green chromis in a reef setup i would like to add a couple more,

You will not have any trouble with green chromis they will get on fine with the three you have.

On the subject of them becoming a shoal, some times they do some times they don't, they may even for two groups.

Regards
Mike

Keith,
My metric conversion is poor at best, please correct me if I am wrong but I believe your tank is equivelant to about 60-65 gallons?

Chromis are somewhat compatible in larger systems. Docile toward other species, they keep a level from dominant to subordinate as any other species. They will school if they feel a threat, however this is quite stressful in an enclosed system.
In a tank as yours a pair is max for any long term success.
Adding more will cause a fight and possibly death to any newcomer.

Take care,
Ed
