aiptasia control?

What's the best way
Some say Kalk them but others say when you do this you can spread them all over the place because you can't reallyl kill it all
Some say Peppermint Shrimp but others say they don't work and they also eat coral
Some say CBB but others say they are too sensitive & die and can't get the really small stuff in cracks
Some say Berghia Nudibranch but others say this doesn't work either.
What should I do? Or what should I try first? I have been Kalking now for a few months but I keep seeing more.
Thanks, Michael

All of the methods you listed are about all the ones I've heard of. Persistence and finding what works for YOUR tank is the key. If you don't have a lot of LPS and soft coral, I say get 4-5 Pep. shrimp and continue kalking.

I would say get some Joe's Juice to kill the big Aiptasias and, also get some Peppermint shrimp to keep them from coming back.

I did that and haven't seen any Aiptasias come back yet. I have 5 Peppermint shrimp in a 65 so to get the same results as me you should probably have 6+.

why do you mention LPS ?

i havent found that to be the case in the past but was curious to know what you know about this

i also found pmints to be the answer in my system for taking care of these aiptasia - although no longer have them in my system and thinking about CBB

I made a kalk paste and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Then I used a syringe to inject the aiptasias. Do this every few days, or when you see them. I haven't seen one since. You also could take the rock out a boil it. That would kill everything.

hot boiling water in a good syringe (wear gloves), aim at the bugger and squirt, careful about animals around it, see the guy melt away...
