API/salifert/red sea calcium test.
Today I tested my calcium with 3 different brand new test kits. Here were my results.
API 420ppm Salifert 380ppm Red Sea 355ppm What to take of this? I dont know. Salifert has good reviews for calcium, so I am thinking 380 is probably closest to correct. Also directly in the middle of the 2 other tests, so probably the closest to truth.

Oh, sigh, hard to say. I'd just go with the Salifert test kit, personally, but the API test kits have gotten good reviews. I didn't have much luck with my Red Sea test kits, so I'm not big on that brand.

I would not trust Red Sea.

I think I am going to order an elos and IO kit and see what kind of results I get with them compared to the other three. I really wish I had the money to buy every kit on the market and compare them. We just have to wait for marine depot to start carrying elos. News is, they will start soon.
