Sorry guy’s, I quit following this thread after I posted. The reason I tried injecting Zoa’s was because I thought it may be a way of turning plain Zoa’s into something more desirable, kind of like they do with clams. I basically dissected an orange Zoa and removed the orange tissue and then using an insulin syringe injected the tissue containing the orange zooxanthellae into a bleached Evilmel. All of the test Zoa’s opened back up after a few days and had color change but after the test Zoa’s regained their original color, the orange faded away. I was only able to get the color to take in one Zoa but it never transferred to the offspring.

Sounds like a neat experiment you performed. If you write it up in an essay format, I'd post that in our articles section.
