PARC Announcement

I was asked to post the following information:

Quote:
Official PARC Announcement:

This message is to all past/current/future members of PARC. This is to notify you that the PARC organization is NOT terminating or in any way dissolving itself. However, as it has been stated due to some personal issues, the club is currently suspending all outward activities. During this downtime an internal restructuring will be completed--the exact timeframe for this activity is still as yet to be determined but there will be some exciting changes as the club moves forward. Going back, the original intent for PARC has always been to provide for a casual environment for local reefers to get together and help support one another in the care and husbandry of captive marine reef systems. This still remains true and will not change. Please stay tuned for further updates. In addition, for those interested, please feel free to register with the main PARC site (www.phillyreef.org ) as any official changes or meeting announcements would be announced there and could be communicated to those registered via email.

With regard to the possible formation of a new “Burbs” club, we would like to state clearly that those activities are wholly unassociated with PARC itself. Stay the fact that a few members of PARC were involved in identifying a need and catalyzing efforts. However, we at PARC fully support the expansion of the hobby through new ventures and believe that not only is it beneficial to all, but complimentary to PARC as well. We acknowledge that there are widely varied needs including, but not limited to geographic and logistical that are associated with interacting with a club. So to those involved with this new endeavor we wish you all the best of success. Furthermore, nothing precludes individuals from joining any number of organizations. PARC is open to everyone, without obligation, period.

Finally, we would like to say thank you to all those who have supported PARC throughout the years. We look forward to returning that support to all of you again sometime soon.

Sincerely,
PARC Management
