hydor koralia noisy?

i've got two powerheads in my 30g now and i'm thinking of replacing both, if not one of them with a hydor koralia 2 or 3, not sure which one to get. but i want to make sure they make no noise because the tank is in my bedroom and i'm a very sensitive sleeper.

They make a little noise at startup, but after that, they're fine

I have a 3 and it doesn't make any noise at all other than on start-up.

If you just want one, and it's a REEF tank, I'd go with a 3; if its FOWLR or FO, you should be able to get by with the 2.

I agree. Mine are silent. I'd go with two #3's in your 30g. Or maybe a 3 on one side and a two on the other.

VERY Quiet. Mine is in our bedroom too and my wife cant hear it. I'd reccomend a goal of turning your tank volume over 20 times if your doing lps and 30-40 if your doing sps. You'll have to do a little math to figure out what will work for your situation factoring in return pump flow, skimmer if HOT, Powerfilter ect.... Just another example of how no job is done till the paperwork is in LOL.
