Nanostream mod vs. Maxijet mod

What is the better buy Nanostream 6025 8W 1100 GPH after mod $69 or Suregrip Maxijet 900 8.5W up to 1600 GPH after mod $57? More importantly will either of these two mods work on a wave timer? Which is more reliable. I already have a 6045 that I modded. What's a little more flow?

The 6025 will not work on a timer, at least I'm pretty sure it won't. The Maxijet mods will work, but some say they tend to break after excessive use.

I have two EcoMods on maxijet 400's and I love them. If you were to buy them all new, Id go with the tunze. If you have maxijets, buy a cheap mod.

i disagree. i talked to roger from tunze about the 6025 on a wavemaker, he said that it will work as long as the on/off interval is 15 mins or more. i actually run 2 of my 6025 on a tsunami wavemaker and it works well without any problem. HTH.

Well there ya go!~ Guess they do work. How long have you been running them? Is it just the 6025 or do they all work?

Evolley1 - IMO the tunze is best due to the size. If you are like me that likes to hide the pumps then tunze is definitely the way to go. just my .02

I like the flexibility of the tunze mount, but it is way to fragile.

Like I said, if you already have the maxijet pumps, just buy an add on for the prop. If you are starting fresh, go with the tunze.

Good suggestions...I am going fresh...I already know what the Tunze is all about. Got to go with what you know...Tunze it is. Thanks!
