iRobot Scooba Floor Washing Robot

Anyone have this?

Opinions?

I know I should have waited for feedback first, but the offer came up today on woot.com for $99.99 and I just HAD to order.

Wow that looks like a great deal, but they're out of stock now. I just looked at their web site and they have a gutter cleaning one - that looks like a great idea, I just may clean my gutters more than once every three years if I had one!

I have the scooba and roomba. They are my best friends. I love them.
The truth is if you will run them while doing other tasks, or while out of the house it is fine. You can also just swifer dust, wet jet, or vacuum in 1/4 of the time. They are fun to watch and I think a must if you have hairy dogs or cats.

My dogs and cats are fine, its the hairy kids here makin' the mess.
We have it and it works well. Not sure how long it will last but it seems well made.

I tried it and it didn't work well over here. It's in my garage, taking up space now. Our house has a pretty open layout and I think that was the problem. Maybe I should donate it to the next meeting for the auction? Are non-fish things allowed?

You need to keep them contained to one room at a time with the virtual walls otherwise itll never do a good job.

My cats used to run from it. Now they just move out of the way Its quieter than a normal vacuum but i dont know if your dog will chase it. Depends on the dog i suppose.

onegreenray: "do what my parents did with me growing up make us vacuum and clean the house."

...Or you can do the other thing Rays parents did with him. Drop him on his head and try to pry the Barbie dolls out of his hands.

TV is edjumacational. You got your science channel, discovery, history etc. So your point is? Xbox has?? Besides we need something to do while the roomba/scoobas are at work!
