Do they count the sent messages too on your quota? I had 3 pms I had but a lot of sent messages and it said my box was full too. What gives with that?

Yep, they count sent messages too. I think they go by a set memory limit, so it doesn't really matter where your messages are, once you meet that quota it's time to clean!
