Sandman, How far are you from Jacksonville Fl ? We are looking for a large tank. We live 3 hours from Jacksonville so if you are not to far it wouldnt be that bad to drive to where you are.

just for reference, this is the message I got from the guys at Dolphin. I had contacted them b/c on their web site it claims that the Ampmaster 3000 comes with a 9-year warrantee, I guess that only applies if you buy a new one directly from them or something......

"Beside for shipping costs if you need a seal installed it would only cost wholesale parts & no labor = $20 + return ground shipping $12-20. Plus if it is to expensive a repair or if it is unrepairable, we would offer a new comparable unit at wholesale, which would benefit you either way because it would be less than you could by the same thing elsewhere."

Hopefully with a little tinkering I can get it to work without having to send it to the factory. I'll post again when I recieve the pump.

I pulled-off the wet end to expose the drive shaft, one good twist with a vice-grip and it's been working on my tank for the last two weeks, quieter than my ice cap fans
