I can tell you are having fun...and that's what it is all about! I'll bet almost everyone that tunes in to the Frogfish Files loves to see pictures and are fascinated with the luring...that is part of the appeal of these cool fish!

BTW - how are you putting that cool border around your pictures?

Yea this little guy has amazed, me almost every day since I had him.

First just watching him eat, then how it carefully tipped toe around, watching how they use there feet/hand/fin to grasp the sides of rocks and clutch onto things, and he does this cool little fin waving display as he is walking, or swimming (I need to get that on film), and last but not least when I first saw him trying to entice the ghost shrimp with the lure. Vinnie has to be one of my favorite fish. (Out of all the fish I owned, Vinnie is just the second one to recieve a name)

To get the border, I enlarge my canvas twice in photoshop (I have an action for it) First by 2pixels all the way around with a white back, and then 20 pixels all the way around with a black back.

I finally got my favorite little fishy!

He is JET black, so it's really difficult to get a good picture of him... but he is cute as hell and has an orange angler!!! It's so fun to watch the angler pop up when I feed him.

He is only a little baby, 1.75" in length. There was a full adult sized version of him there as well, but he was over $300 and the size of a softball

I am currently feeding him guppies, he likes them but won't touch ghost shrimp.

What a cute little froggie My "Ollie" is black with white spots. He just moved into a 55 gallon last weekend as he's 6 inches long right now. I wonder if your's will be changing to red/orange in the near future? Good luck with your new little guy

I had never seen a frogfish until recently at a LFS in Greenwood, IN. It was a large red one. When I first seen it, I thought that it was fake. It looked like a burnt deep fried fish to me. Its been there for a couple of months. Didn't know they came in an assortment of colors.

Man that fish is gorgeous! Do they morph colors though? Or will he stay like that?

you might wanna think about switching to something besides guppies in the future. keep encouragin him to eat shrimp. guppies are not a very nutritious food for frogs.

I wish my frogfish looked cool Is just brown...somtimes turns a yellow shade. He doesn't even have a lure (sp) (little thing at attracts fish)

Absolutely gorgeous! Funny thing to say about what most people think are ugly fish, but they are beautiful to frogifish afficiondos!

Cross your fingers that one doesn't decide the other one looks like lunch one day....hopefully you DO realize that that is a distinct possibility when you put two together. If you see evidence that they've become a pair, you might not have to worry, but otherwise.....it may be a crap shoot.
