Long overdue!

Very excited about the possibilities of this club! I see other clubs listed on the RC forum and they always have fun group buys, specials, frag swaps and just good dialogue amongst each other so I am hoping this can develop into something along those lines.

I look forward to the meeting in October!

You may be interested to know that Janna at Reef Connections and myself are working on something with the Blank Park Zoo!

I don't have anything definite yet, but this could be a really good thing for both the club and the zoo.

I am excited too....I too have the virus and yes..it is contagious.
For the longest time i thought i was one of the very few that had the plague locally. I have since found out that there are lots more infected. I cant wait to meet more people with the disease!!!

How do you go about joining the club? I live in Iowa City and goto school at the university.

There is a group here in Davenport that is trying to get a public aquarium organized and built. Maybe once we get the club together we could do something to help promote it. They are in their fledgling stages, organizing, and fund raising at this time, but I believe it would be a great addition to the area.
