Clown for a 28
I have a 28 gallon tank up and running right now. I am going to put a Lawnmower Blenny, 3x Blue/Gree Reef Chromis and some kind of clownfish. I like either the Tomato Clown or the Ocellaris Clown.
I like the Tomato the most, but I think one would get too big for a 28. What do you think? |

I'm thinking either 1 Tomato Clown, or 2 Ocellars Clowns. Is a 28g too small for a tomato clown? How hard is it to pair up to clowns?

Hey bassman,
There are a lot of choices out there when it comes to ocellaris clowns. I think if you wanted to do something unique you have a few options to go with. Black ocellaris Stripeless clown Onyx don't forget the traditional ocellaris and percula types or mix and match.

that sounds like a lot for a 28 but if you just get the blenny and a pair of clowns either species will be fine. Definately get 2 clownfish, it is much better for them to be in pairs.

IMHO the tomato would outgrow the 28, go with some of the percula morphs or a pair of skunks

I'm going to look into getting a pair of Ocellaris clowns, or atleast a pair of a small type. Thanks for the suggestions so far.
