any one using leveling sand

Hey guys,
I was just filling some planters for my wife with Kolor Scape Leveling Sand from Lowes and it hit me how cool it was. A nice pinkish looking color and lots of little pepples mixed in. The only warning it has is about a small amount of crystilline silica which is found in natural sand. Would this be safe to use in my tank. I want to put it in my 8x2x1 coral vat which will not be used as my deep sand bed. I will have that located elsewhere in the system.

Thanks for the input......

Joe

I put it in my 100 gal. refugum, about 6" deep, which is connected to a 125 fish tank. It's been running for 1 year without any aparent side effects.

That is what I was hoping to hear.
