Chaeto $20 - One Gallon Bag - Shipped

Will fill a 1 Gallon Ziplock and ship USPS Priorty mail for $20.

I have a good amount to get rid of but Im not sure how many bags I can fill. This stuff sits in its own predator free refugium so its teeming with life - pods, worms, sand stars. I can't guarantee how many would be alive, but I will ship with some water in the baggie.

PM me or paypal to bryher@msn.com

One question, do I need to put some lights for the Cheato? If so, what type of lights do you use/recommend and for how long do you run them?

thanks...

Thanks everyone - all bags have been spoken for and shipped:

- WillieC
- PaOol
- Rolyguy7

I'll send emails and PMs next with tracking info.

Rolyguy7 - good question. Here's what I do:

- yes, the Chaeto definitely needs light.

- Some people light 24/7 to get the best growth, which is what I did for a long time.

- What I do now, suggested by others, is light it at night, on an "opposite photoperiod" meaning that when your tank lights are off, the chaeto light is on, and vice versa. This has something to do with oxygen or Co2 or something, I cant remember the details!

- The best part is that you can use a very simple, low cost light for it. Myself and alot of people use those outdoor spotlight lights, 65W, by Lights of America. Fixture and bulb cost around $10. Mount it above the chaeto, only a few inches away. The chaeto grows very well under this.

Here's a shot of the bulb - Home Depot always has them:

Let me know if you have any other questions.
