In this case, the "acroholic" has to have something more than dial-up service.

Alright, here are a few. This first one looks like a decent place to go for reviews if you're looking to buy new equipment:

http://www.aquahobby.com/e_products.php

Some info on phytoplankton and culturing it:
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...02/breeder.htm

If you're ever up in Atlanta, be sure to visit the aquarium:
http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/

Learn how to glue acrylics among other things:
http://www.tapplastics.com/info/video.php?

Most of you have probably at least heard of Melev's Reef, but just in case you don't have a link:
http://www.melevsreef.com/allmysumps.html

If you're thinking about collecting fish or corals from the wild, you may want to go here first:
http://myfwc.com/marine/recreational/recharvestmls.htm

A decent place to go for diagnosing and treating fish illnesses:
http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/com...asetrouble.htm

Thanks! I just checked it out. Pretty cheap prices and very cheap shipping. I contacted them for more info on shipping. They said they ship USPS priority.

Alright, here a rea few links I promised to post from the meeting:

This first one is for Randy's two-part formula. . .well, three part with the magnesium supplement. It also has the link for Buckeye Field Supply where you can get Mag/Dow flake online in much smaller than 1 ton quantities:

Randy's 2-part Recipe

Here's the article on magnesium supplements. It talks about why Epsom salts is not a good supplement by itself over an extended period unless you are good about doing water changes (at least 30% monthly):

Magnesium supplements

And lastly here's another chemistry calculator. I'm pretty sure James posted a similar one or perhaps even the exact same one, but I can't seem to find it now. . .

Reef Chemistry Calculator

Rhodomonas is a red phytoplankter that needs just a little but more f/2 than nanno. It's also a bit bigger than nanno. The guy that runs that site has got some great pics and a scale up of nanno and rhodo. The hatchery I used to deal with would have 100L bags of it and let me tell you, when that stuff was nice and thick it looked like a huge bag of amberbock! I've never grown tetraselmis before, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Next stop, rotifers

I copy (right click and select "copy") it from the address bar and then come in here and right click again and "paste".

EDIT: If you aren't using a mouse, push the Ctrl and "C" button together to copy and Ctrl "V" to paste.

Check out this one for Metal Halide comparisons: http://www.cnidarianreef.com/lamps.cfm

And for the Zoanthid freaks, these guys look cool: http://www.marineflora.com/

Prices look a little high - for the AquaticCorals. $36 for brown star polyps, yikes!!

Teh second link is more promising. Still worried about parasites, bugs and other nasties.

EDIT: Lance, we should save on shipping, drive down there (Roadtrip) and pick our own. Hit some other stores and people's tanks while we are at it.

i was more interested in the frags. i didn't even look at the other stuff. the in state shipping is cheap. i am bidding on the pink chalice. if you are worried about parasites and bugs, any tank could give you those. you must dip your corals for no worries! it doesn't scare me. these guys have been doing this for a while i'm sure. i know the guy in mobile has for a little while any way. the corals in the ebay link are pretty nice stuff. the prices aren't that bad either.

these guys i don't think sell corals out right. somehow they auction them off every so often. some of these are reserved until 2010! they also give descriptions/history of some "famous" corals: http://www.reeffarmers.com/

Ed, that is one of the coolest things I have seen in a while. It's unique instead of building off of another existing item.
