kalk reactor q's MRC maybe?

I'm looking for a kalk reactor for my system. which type is less maintenance the powerhead style like geo or stir bar type? I'm leaning towards mrc because it has built in timers I guess i never seen one in person.

There are lots of good things said about both MRC and Geo. I opted for a Geo because of concerns that stir bars eventually bind and fail. Granted the Geo doesn't have a built in timer, but I have no regrets. It's been a top notch unit.

I own a MRC calcium reactor and have been mostly happy with it. I do feel that there should be some improvements though.

I will definitely go with a GEO for my kalk reactor. These are great looking reactors.

Thanks, I'll be going with either a geo or korallin calcium reactor in the future, but for now I think the kalk should be sufficient. I'm just looking for a good unit so I'm not looking to change or upgrade in 6 months. thanks for the input though.
