Near new 14K Iwasaki 250W DE bulb, Louisiana

Just bought this 1.5 weeks ago, and have run it for that length of time, 8 hours a day. Nice, bright white bulb, but, I was expecting a little more blue to it than what it has, being a 14K bulb. I paid $75 + shipping at Premium Aquatics... selling for $60 plus shipping, firm.

Didn't take any, getting photos of what a light looks like over a tank is really kind of impossible, as the pictures never really come out to look exactly the way they do in person (at least not the ones I take). There are a few threads in the icecap forum on the iwasaki waterscape 14K bulb there...a few people posted pics of their tanks lit by this bulb, maybe that can help.
