culture station questions
Hi all,
I don't know if this qualifies as an advance topic so if I've misplaced it please let me know. I would like to set up a culture station that can produce phytoplankton, rotifers, copepods, brine, and possibly mysid. I have read Dwayne Sapp's article on DIY culture stations along with several others but they focus on phytoplankton culturing. Does anyone know where I can find literature on the how tos of rotifer, brine, and mysid culturing? Do I need fertilizer, what do I feed them, how do I know when the container is reaching its capacity, etc. ? Thank you!! |

One more thing. Do I need to buy these microalgae disks to produce phyto or can I use the DT's in my fridge?
