Brown Jelly infection

My goniopora has gotten brown jelly infection. The more I messed with him, the worse he seems to get. Is it possible that if I just leave him he will heal himself?

Over the last month I have given him one fresh water bath and two iodine dips to no avail.

If it means anything the jelly is in a ring, eating it's way from the outside into the center.

Please help me.

I would suggest trying to re-post this in one of the coral forums. You may have some better luck with people having more experience with this!

Good luck!
