WTB Wavy Sea and/or Sea Swirl & le
Looking to add some random flow to my tank and was wondering if anybody has a black wavy sea or sea swirl they're looking to get rid of. Would prefer if you live in orange county.
I'm looking to put a tunze 6100 on the wavy sea or a tunze 6045 on the sea swirl. Also, anybody have any experience with a setup like this? Let me know Thanks |

I wouldn't put anything on the SeaSwirl, the gears strip pretty easy. The WavySea on the other hand, is built very strong. The even have a bracket to connect a Tunze.

Man, I tell ya my luck with this tank just keeps getting worse. I started to cut away the overflow last weekend. 1/2" bottom so nothing to worry about. I cut and cut, tweeked a little, cut a little heat, tweek a little and snap ola!!! the bottom is double layered 1/4" glass not 1/2" here's what the bottom looks like.. Guess my son has a new tank for his geckos.. bsk997, Ken's right, I wouldn't suggest using SS's unless its for what they were made for. Its a pain to mount anything to em.

Sorry to here about your tank Mark. I have a window to match it if you want
The Tunzes are big, and if they bind against anything it will snap the gears in the SS. Much bigger than the MaxiJets.

I was going to put the smaller round tunze 6045 on the sea swirls. They're not as big or powerful as the full full size 6000 and 6100.
I saw some people post that they put a Y off the sea swirl and they're able to zip tie the round tunze. John, have you had any problems with the wavysea spinning the 6000? Did you use the wavysea mount or use the end cap method? I like the end cap method better since it's less obtrusive. Thanks |

I have a brand new one I have never used in Irvine. I just never found the time to redo my plumbing.
