I'm a mommy! (of a baby, not percs! :) )

Hi all! Just wanted to let you know that I gave birth to my baby boy Wyatt Douglas on Saturday, June 9!

He was born early at 31 weeks 4 days, so he is in the NICU for now, but he is doing very well.

Here are some pics for those who are interested:

Linky

I will be trading in my tank (selling to Doglover_50) for my baby as I won't have time for both, but will be back in a year or so when we finish our new house (I am building in 2 300-gallon tanks).

Crystal

Congratulations!! Why do women say baby boy or baby girl? Uh, if you just had it then uh, ya wouldn't it be a baby? Isn't that a given?

Uh, you obviously don't understand what I wrote. Gender has nothing to do with what I was asking.

I really must object to your posts, Freed. Here's the question that ran through my mind: do you not see that your post, while probably a harmless commentary, is nevertheless an intrusion on CrystalAZ's thread ABOUT HER NEW BABY?

This was not a post about the lifecycle of ick or what does your skim smell like. So who cares if badfish misunderstood your question or missed the gender above.

It is a post by a woman who just gave birth and is sharing that joy with her local community.

That said...congrats again, Crystal! I've sent you a few PMs on logistics. See you Sunday. DL

Uh, Your right. I did misunderstand your post. But your post has no value in this thread.

Thank you Doglover for sticking up for me. I did not miss the gender of Crystals baby. I misunderstood Freed's comment. I agree with Doglovers post. Why would you comment on such a thing? I dont want you to comment on my question or any thing else in this thread Freed.

No drama in my happy thread!!!!

I get what Freed is saying - of course it is a BABY, so why say BABY boy? Why not say boy? Kinda like "hot water heater". The answer - because "baby boy" sounds so much cuter than just "boy".

I gave birth at Good Sam. I actually went to Arrowhead with extremely high blood pressure (208/118) and ended up getting air lifted to Good Sam. Things got progressively worse there until I had no choice but to give birth early.

Then after a couple days in the PCH NICU, they transferred my baby boy (lol) to Banner T-Bird where he is now.
