got my new skimmer, extreme octopus
soon as glass cages ships me my sump get to install under my 125 gallon.
here is link to who is making the extreme octopus that premium aquatics is selling

I believe they make the "other" skimmmers as well. Coral Vue is the US distributor for the Reef Octopus brand, and the have a license on the brand. The Marine Solutions website (that was selling the skimmers) was selling them as well, in some sort of violation of branding laws or some such.
So they have branded them SWC. They did this to avoid legal issues. But I am almost certain it is the same skimmer, just a different label. Customer service seems to be better with the Reef Octopus skimmers though, from what I have read.

What's the foot print on that? and height please, that was the one I was looking at for my 125g. I was going to pm you to let me know which skimmer you went with so I can have a better idea of what I should get.

Ones from SWC come with sicce pumps, ones from Coralvue come with the standard Octopus pumps.
