Magnessium Chloride?

I was reading a post of Anthony Calfo's on another board, and it talked about a magnessium chloride dip for a coral pest. Does anyone know of a magnessium chloride product that is sold over the counter for reef tanks?

I don't know for reef tanks. You can get Mag Chloride at the hardware store. It's usually touted as "environmentally friendly" or "pet safe" ice melt. Look on the back for the ingrediants.

Although, most of the Mg boosters for reef tanks are probably made of the same stuff.

Check out Two Part Solutions for bulk Mg Chloride. It's the active ingredient in most Mg buffers. Check the label, some use Mg Sulphate (Epsom Salt).

I'll have to search on using it as a dip.
