T 8 and T 12 bulbs

Can t8 bulbs be used in coralife fixture for T 12 bulbs w/o issues or problems like fire hazard?

I'd ask someone at an electrical supply store.

But they're made in different sizes for a reason. I would go with what is recommended on the ballast....

Also, aren't the pin configurations different on a T8 and T12?
