What glue to use?

What type of glue can i use to glue a coral to the rock?

I have a coral which has a base (which is very small). Planning to glue the samll base to a bigger rock to make is more stable.

What type of glue to use?

Please advice!!

If it's a soft coral i would just use a rubber band. It it's a hard coral super glue gel works well.

If by base you mean the coral is already attached to a rock and you want to attach that rock to a larger rock, aquarium epoxy will work best.

You can use crazy glue. They also make a putty adhesive that you can buy at the fish store. It's called Hold Fast.

In that case just use an aquarium Epoxy like Holdfast, aquastik, etc.

Super glue will work as percula9 mentioned but the epoxy will hold much better.

Agree with the advice so far. wanted to mention that the epoxy will make your skimmer go crazy for a couple of days, while it cures. You may want to turn it off while that's going on. Just a heads up.

Actually you should leave your skimmer on to remove the chemical that is given off as it cures. Unless you have used a lot of the glue your skimmer should be okay. If it starts to over skim lower the water height.
