Anyone tried the RIO hand on back mini skimmer?

Hi there, I currently have a 5g FOWLR that I want to set up for reefing, mainly mushrooms and zoos...

DO you guys think it could work? for $30 I think the price is reasonable for a tank this small or should I just keep my hang on tank filter?

I am using it. I just got it the other day. Finally getting skimate today. It is on a seahorse tank. I am getting microbubbles from it in the display, but am told that these will go away over time. I sure hope so, I know that microbubbles aren't good for horse.

If you get one, just realize it may take time till you see any skimate.

Hey Kristin, got a few questions...

What size tank are you using it on? how old is the tank? how many days have you been using teh skimmer?

And finally have any pics?
