keeping stylo and pocci pink
I have a small colony of pink poccilipora and a pink stylopora... That is they were pink when I put them in the tank. Now they have turned dark purple with a slight touch of pink. They are under 4 overdriven t5 bulbs, 2 aqua blues and 2 blue plus. They are both about 10" to 12" under the lights. My nitrates and phosphate are at zero, I dose vodka and prodibio, and I don't have a nuisance algae problem. Not sure why this is... Too much blue and not enough red in the lighting spectrum?
Thanks, Blair |

i would try an aquasun in place of one aquablue, and maybe replace the other with an actinic

You mean run 1 aquasun, 2 blue plus, 1 actinic? That seems like it would be really blue.

flow is also very important with stylo's, they like a lot of it.
