Coral banded shrimp vs. arrow crab

I have had a large CBS in my 55g FOWLR tank for a year now . Do you think it would tolerate a large arrow crab!

I am currently doing this experiment in my 55, about 2 months. They have each molted once. I haven't seen any trouble with them, but, I have seen the arrow become aggressive at feeding time with other inhabitants, (fire shrimp, pink-n-blue spot goby).

Hey troy, I just read on DR. fosters that arrow crabs have been known to attack and eat CBS ,which suprised me because I was thinking it would be the other way around.
I am not to concerned with the fish my smallest is 2 inch damsel and a royal gramma.
What size are yours?

When I was seeking advice, (I got them both at the same time), I got 1 reply stating that they were mortal enemies
and that in the end, the CB won out. I think i had 3 replies of success...

What size? Arrows body- 1"
CB body- 2"
Fire shrimp-3"
P-N-B goby- 5"

Yesterday at feeding, I feed some fresh oyster for the first time and the arrow went nuts He loved it! But, he did grab
the goby with 1 claw and try to reach in the goby's mouth with the other.

Yup, I had to take the CBS out of my nano because he grabbed hold of my yellow watchman and mortally wounded a firefish both were added two minutes previously. Thats when he was relocated into the 55gallon tank. He still tries to grab my fish when he is hungry. He better be ready for a Nantucket sleigh ride if he gets a hold because my foxface and clown are getting big!

But I do have to admit my guest are always impressed when they see my CBS crawl over the LR. His antennae has to 9 inches across end to end!

i am surprise and sad about the cbs attack on you fish, i have kept cbs and they always act as cleaners for my fish, as a matter of fact most of my fish will seek out the cbs. but most of them are pretty big.

Dexnc, You have to remember that was in the 14g biocube , not much room to hide from that lil guys reach.
If I ever put them in a nano again, I will get the golden variety.
I think they are the coolest shrimp out there with the exception of harliquin shrimp.
but I can't afford to buy fresh starfish for food!
