Your Favorite Nano Fish.

I need some ideas for my aquapod 12 and I figured people can show off their own or their favorite nano fish. Well here is mine even though I cannot have one :

any small goby: greenband goby, clown goby, hifin redbanded goby, firefish or catalina (providing there is a chiller).

Geometric pygmy hawk, red headed goby, green banded goby, three of my favorites, I have owned all, and all prospered so far

An ocellaris, with the limited space is my vote for a number of reasons;

a) they're narcissistic as hell, so you'll see them all the time
b) very hardy; my two have been with me six years at this point, suffering through my stupidity and experimention
c) won't bother corals--mine have hosted in a frogspawn for years
d) you can't beat the coloration
e) will eat anything
f) i haven't had one person walk past my nano tank without saying, "hey neat, a clown fish"

I also like the purple firefish, however, they are a bit reclusive.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your suggestions, but I was more geared to having everyone show off some pictures too. So if anyone else right now is having trouble with a fish they want they can take a look here. I think you could have a dragonet in a "nano" word meaning the range of 5 - 30 gallons. Just not my 12g.

InLimbo87 I was very interested in a tailspot how does your act. I don't want a very skittish fish.

Also isn't a 12g too small for a clown?

My Green Clown Goby is my absolute favourite nano fish, tiny but with a huge character, I've had him for a couple of years now:

I also like this goby because he's just so different but not sure how easy they are to get hold of, mine arrived in my lfs with some liverock (excuse the mucky glass ):

My favorite nano fish are the black occellaris clown and a watchmans goby. I have a black occellaris clown in my 12 gallon aquapod and love her. I have had numerous watchman gobies over the years; they are great entertainment.

Helfrichi firefish but I could never get myself to spend that much money on such a small fish.
